Anjuman-e-Mohammadi (or the Anjuman) is registered with the Joint Stock Companies pursuant to the provisions of the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Anjuman is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Its primary objectives are enshrined in its constitution.  

It was founded by a group of notable personalities on 5^th of April, 1964. It is a non-political, independent Islamic institution established to promote, especially among children and young men, an intelligent and active appreciation of the basic Islamic principles and virtues, develop unity and solidarity among Muslims, manage a mosque and other ancillary structures for religious gatherings, provide community and research facilities aimed at understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-e-Bayt (AS), and supporting the underprivileged members of the Community.
